The purpose of this report is to
recommend an amendment to the conditions of approval for the Costco Site Plan
application, to delete the requirement that the plan of subdivision for the
Costco site and other lands be registered prior to final site plan approval.
On

Town to finalize its site plan approval for its store on Kirkham Drive just
east of Markham Road and all conditions of the endorsement of the site plan
have been complied with, with the exception of the registration of the plan of
subdivision which comprises the Costco store site and other lands, fronting on Markham
Road. Costco’s store is scheduled to
open on

of subdivision will be registered within a reasonably short time frame after
the execution of the subdivision agreement.

also given its approval to the use of the accesses to
Deletion of the site plan requirement for the plan of subdivision to be registered will permit the Director of Planning and Urban Design to finalize the site plan approval and will facilitate the opening of the Costco store on March 30th.
