The Task Force convened at 1:00 p.m. with Councillor D. Horchik in the Chair.

1. MINUTES OF THE MAKE IT HAPPEN TASK FORCE MEETING HELD ON MAY 15, 2007

Moved by Councillor A. Chiu

Seconded by Regional Councillor J. Jones

That the minutes of the Make it Happen Task Force meeting held on May 15, 2007 be adopted.

2. UPDATE ON WORKING GROUP COMPOSITION

The Task Force was provided with a revised composition of the six (6) Working Groups.

3. DRAFT TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR WORKING GROUPS

The Task Force reviewed the draft Terms of Reference for each of the six (6) Working Groups. There was brief discussion and some minor amendments were suggested.

Seconded by Regional Councillor G. Landon

That the draft Terms of Reference for the six (6) Make it Happen Task Force Working Groups, comprising Members of Council, Town staff and representatives from the development industry, be adopted as amended.

4. NEXT STEPS

It was agreed that all Members of Council will be notified of the meeting dates of the Working Groups. Meetings will take place over the summer and it is anticipated that the Working Groups will present reports to the Task Force in September, 2007.
