Project Purpose: 

Streamlining the subdivision and site plan agreement processes; evaluate the current process and determine areas that can be “standardized”; improve consistency;

Project Scope/Deliverables:

Review process map for subdivision and site plan agreements for efficiencies, realistic timelines, duplication of reviews for sign-off, etc.

Update standard conditions of draft approval

Update standard subdivision agreement and pick list of special clauses

Update Amanda processes and DAP manual

Review building permit issue process vis a vis plan registration

 

Overall Timeline / Milestones:

Analyze issues and opportunities:                      July/August

Generate solutions:                                           August/September

Report to Council                                             October/November

Implement solutions                                          November -  January 08

 

Measurable Success Indicators/KPI’s:

Track decreases in processing time from submission of all required studies/plans to complete subdivision or site plan agreement

 

 

 

 


 

Additional Resources Required:

Stacy Larkin, the Agreements Clerk in the Legal Services Department, will be involved in discussions as required, as will members of the Planning and Urban Design Department, who routinely are involved in subdivision and site plan processing and who have been involved in the on-going project of Subdivision Agreement reform.  Members of other departments who input into the subdivision and site plan process will be called upon to participate as and when required.
