1. DEMOLITION PERMIT APPLICATION
FOR 94 JOHN STREET
FILE 16.11
There was
considerable discussion surrounding the options for redevelopment at 94 John
Street. These included total demolition of the existing building, an addition
to the existing building and severing the lot and relocating the existing
building, while building a new house on the newly created lot.
It was noted that
the size of a new house is constrained by by-law and cannot exceed
approximately 4,000 sq. ft. Mr. Naccarato advised that his plans are based on
no more than 2,500 sq. ft.
The
Committee could not reach consensus on a recommended course of action and it
was agreed that the Committee will meet once more before September, 2007 to try
to reach a decision.
ADJOURNMENT
The Thornhill Subcommittee meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
