The Chair advised the subject of the
Public Meeting this date was to consider a Town initiated Zoning By-law
amendment for the former Markham Hydro (now Powerstream) building at
The Committee Clerk advised that 17 notices were mailed on
Staff gave a presentation regarding the proposal, the location, surrounding uses and outstanding issues.
There were no comments from the audience with respect to this application.

That
the record of the Public Meeting held on September 18, 2007 with respect to the
proposed Town initiated amendments to Rural Area Zoning By-law No. 304-87 and
Markham Centre Zoning By-law No. 2004-196 to rezone the former Markham Hydro
(now Powerstream) building at 8100 Warden Avenue from “Agricultural” (A1) to
“Markham Centre Downtown One” (MC-D1), be received;
And,
that the proposed amendments to By-laws 304-87 and 2004-196 be enacted without
further notice.
