THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF MARKHAM

TO AMEND BY-LAW 106-71

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF MARKHAM THAT BY-LAW NUMBER 106-71 BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:

1. That Schedule 19 of Traffic By-law 106-71, pertaining to “Traffic Control Signals”, be amended by adding the following locations for authorized signal light traffic control signal system:

COLUMN 1

INTERSECTION

YMCA Boulevard & Rivis Road

Town Centre Boulevard & Cox Boulevard

Green Lane & Thornhill Square Driveway

Alden Road & Bentley Street

Middlefield Road & Highglen Avenue

Commerce Valley Drive West & South Park Road

2. That Schedule 19 of Traffic By-law 106-71, pertaining to “Traffic Control Signals”, be approved by deleting the following intersection:

Green Lane and Southerly Driveway of the Landmark of Thornhill

3. That Schedule 12 of Traffic By-law 106-71, pertaining to “Compulsory Stops”, be approved by deleting the following locations:

3. The By-law shall come into force and effect upon receiving the third reading by the Council of the Town of Markham and also when authorized traffic control signals have been energized.

4. All other provisions of By-law 106-71 which have not been hereby amended shall remain in full force and effect.
