Enbridge's Spray & Save Program Completed
This program offered the installation of a low-flow, pre-rinse spray valve available to all full service restaurants and other food service operations. Gas savings estimated at $546/year and water and sewage cost savings estimated at $630/year based on approximations that pre-rinse spray valve is used 4 hours/day $546 or $630/year

This program promotes MECO's brand and purpose across the Town and encourages staff to participate in energy conservation at work and at home.  It's an employee awareness initiative aimed at creating a "culture of conservation". RTG - Street Light Evaluation Study Study underway
Aimed at evaluating select residential & industrial areas to identify if perhaps they are overlit - may be opportunities to reduce wattage of bulbs in re-lamping cycle.

Environment & Energy Management Software (EEMS)        
Launched Summer 2005 Working on implementation of upgrades to EEMS and electronic upload of 2006 electricity data and Enbridge gas data.
This is a web based tool that allows MECO to record and manage the energy consumption and cost of our buildings and streetlights by tracking electricity, gas and water accounts.  Data entered for 2003 - 2005.
Advancing High Performance Buildings
