Ward Update
-$50,000 to 100,000 savings on roof with utilizing existing roof.
Geothermal - (being differed to when Furnace needs replacing – approximately
2 years)
- good insulation lasts as long as building (20 years)
- will go on lifecycle for roof etc, furnace, flooring etc.
- will be presenting this to Parks prior to going to committee
- accessible washroom will be put on accessible list for annual review

John R. commented on the architect’s scope, such as types of finishes, cabinetry etc.
The Board discussed the tour several members took to

Book Committee
Book Committee and Historical Society – received $40,000 for research and writing of the book from the Trillium Foundation. Sue will be writing the book. Lorne is chairing project and looking for additional members. Regular reports will be provided.
Researcher to be hired by the museum. Anna to resolve within existing operating budget.
Foundation Update
Anna and John B met with legal, 6-8 months waiting time expected.
John B and Councillor Moretti to discuss start up appointment of Directors.
$51,000 seed money being held in trust can continue to receive charitable gifts.

New Business:
Clerk’s office sent out a notice that if someone misses 3 or more meetings the Advisory Board can review and recommend removal.
Chair raised need for a review of officers at the next meeting.
Mr. Seabrooke extended thanks to the Board for their contributions. Councillor Moretti extended thanks to the Board, good cheer all around and a great future ahead.
