Explanation of 2003-2007

1. Maintenance costs is associated with grass cutting, minor repairs and upkeep of the cemeteries and the purchase of corner markers. The costs have slightly fluctuated between 2003 and 2007 depending on requirements. For instance, in 2007, the Town replaced a fence at Buttonville Cemetery at a cost of approximately $5,500.
2. Cemetery Bank Interest on Trust Fund – these funds may be expended by the Town as an operational offset.
3. Cemetery Plot Sales – Between 2003 and 2006 sales remained fairly consistent. In 2007, sales increased primarily due to the purchase of a large number of plots by an ethnic community group.
