·        Along major road artery.  It is easily assessable

·        Parking spaces available at Unionville High School, business across Town Centre Blvd., IBM campus, Unionville Go Station.

·        Large open space

·        Overhead space for participants and volunteers

·        Storage facility

·        Close to Ward 7 & 8 which enables a more efficient process when moving supplies

·        Proximity to residents and volunteers

·        Site layout.  There is plenty of space, but challenge will be placing entertainment to new festival ground.

[1] Canada Day allows for parking at Markville Mall, because it is closed on July 1st.  Since MCF holds its festival on the Saturday after Labour Day and the same weekend is considered as one of the busiest weekends at Markville Mall, it will be a factor when we decide to take 1200 parking spaces away from them.
