2010 Calendar-Letter for Advertising Solicitation	Two draft letters were circulated to the Committee for their input. Committee members suggested that both letters be incorporated into one.	Combine letters for solicitation and have Corporate Communications review. Send letters to local pet related businesses.	Christy, Caroline, and Valerie Denielle and Julia
2010 Calendar-Project Plan	Janet prepared a detailed project plan for the Committee Calendar. Committee members reviewed the plan and agreed that it covered all necessary steps for the calendar.	Committee members are to volunteer for the marketing or production teams and to let Janet know via email. Each team is to meet before the next meeting and begin preparing their team project plan in the same format Janet has used.	Entire Committee
2010 Calendar-Photo Contest	Committee members agreed that all photos will be included in the calendar and that the entire Committee will host a separate meeting to judge the animals of the month winners. Each winner will be asked to provide a few short sentences on their pet.	No further action required at this time. Further details to follow.
2010 Calendar-Name	Several suggestions were given by Committee members. The Committee voted and 6 votes agree on “Markham; We Love our Pets” 2010.	No further action required at this time.
2010 Calendar-Project Co-ordinator	Terrie has agreed to take the lead on this project.	No further action required.
2010 Calendar-Tracking Adoptions	It was suggested that the Committee look into a way to track the adoptions that take place because of the calendar. It was suggested that an adoption coupon be attached to the calendar.	The Committee will research further avenues of tracking and discuss them with the OSPCA. No further action required at this time.
New Business	1. U-CAN Bins: At the last ACC meeting, it was established that the Town would budget for pet related educational material to be placed on the U-CAN bins. 2. Committee passed a motion to request that the Town of Markham proclaim “National Wildlife Week” April 6^th-12^th, 2009 and “Be Kind to Animals Week” May 3^rd-9^th, 2009.
