Subject: New Farmers Market at Markham Civic Centre

We have just received information that it is the intention to open a new Farmers Market this year at the Markham Civic Centre. The York Farmers Market as you know is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the year and has been in operation for over fifty years. Out of common courtesy we would have appreciated being notified of this proposal much earlier in the proposal/discusssion stages rather than finding out about it this past weekend. This may not affect our business volumes but your consideration would certainly have been appreciated.
