Re:  Thornhill Community Centre Renovation/Expansion

 

At the Board Meeting held on Monday, November 23, the Board passed the following motion:

 

Moved by:                     Ms. Madhany

Seconded by:                Ms Sum

 

RESOLVED THAT:        The Library remain closed during the period of renovation.

 

Carried.

 

It was noted this motion was opposed by Ms Giblon and Mr. McDermott.

 

Moved by:                     Mrs. Giblon

Seconded by:                Ms Sum

 

RESOLVED THAT:  The Board request Council to find suitable Library space at either Thornhill Community Centre or an alternate location for the duration of the renovation project.

 

Carried.

 

The Board requested that this letter be placed on the agenda of the next General Committee on Monday, November 30, 2010.
