This report is to
proclaim the week of
Public Works form
the foundation of the Town’s services and improve the quality of life for
everyone in the community. When the citizens of
Since 1960, a
week in May is set aside for Public Works awareness throughout
APWA has selected “Public Works: Above, Below, & All Around You” as its theme for 2010’s National Public Works Week. The theme speaks to the all-pervasive effort of public works professionals and their projects, bringing quality of life and the necessities of community to the citizens of the world.
National Public Works Week is observed each year during the third full week of May. Through NPWW and other efforts, APWA seeks to raise the public’s awareness of public works issues and to increase confidence in public works employees who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for present and future generations
